The Cruel Dark by Bea Northwick - Book Review

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The story follows Millicent Foxboro, a woman who’s spent two months in a mental ward for traumatic amnesia.

An unlikely opportunity arises to go and work for a Professor of Mythology Callum Hughes and help as his research assistant. He's intense and mysterious, and not all is what it seems at the Willowfield estate.

The book was perfectly spooky and haunting, just the right amount of mystery and Slow Burn 🔥 the twists in this book honestly had me gasping and the ending was perfection.
