Absolutely obsessed with this gorgeous smelling candle! First had it with the monthly bookish box and I am still very much in love with it - never burned a candle this fast before! Super recommend!
After experiencing this lovely candle, I'm amazed that more authors don't collaborate with candle makers. Having an appropriate scent fill the room while you read makes absolute sense. (Scent sense!)
This small, nicely made and packaged candle with really well themed explanatory note from author AJ West is a perfect purchase for avid readers - I'd suggest buying the book and candle together as a gift, or treating yourself to both.
I brought my first advent calendar with Whsiporia and I’m in love, it’s the first bookish calendar I’ve brought and I get so excited to see what I get each day. The amount of time and thought taken with each day is incredible and I will definitely be buying my 2025 calendar from here again

I bought all four candles, but as Thomas stole my heart, and I’m a total sucker for anything with bergamot, I had to experience this candle first. Before even smelling the candle, the accompanying note from AJ West is just so wonderful. But the description on the candle tin itself is - if you have read the book - heartbreakingly beautiful. The scent is an incredible match for the character of Thomas, I can only describe it as being a most magical of synaesthetic pleasures. Scented candles and reading has always been a delight but a candle matched so perfectly to a character takes it to a whole new level: well done, Whisporia and AJ West. If you’ve read the book (and if you haven’t, you must) you must also buy the candle. Or all four…
I am really enjoying the monthly subscription. I have been signed up since the start so have collected every single one, each box is brilliant. I love that it includes scents I would never have chosen, assuming I wouldn't like them, but it's really opened my eyes because there isn't one I didn't like! Even my husband is invested in which one I'll get each month now. And then I love using the stickers for my book journal, they are perfect!
