If Kvothe (Name of the Wind) and Mia Corvere (Nevernight) had a love child, Locke Lamora would be it!

He reminded me of these characters so much! His tenacity, resourcefulness, his wits. He is going down as one of my favourite characters of all time.

This book was absolutely brilliant, so gritty and funny, the writing was immaculate.

I loved the found family aspect of this book. Locke, Jean, Galdo, Calo and my little baby Bug 🥹 made the most marvellous put together little family, even Chains in his fatherly role.

This was everything I expect from an epic fantasy, humour, brilliant plot, twists I didn't see coming, suspense, heartbreak 😭

I can't say anything more, other than it'll forever be one of my favourite books of all time.
