This was an enjoyable quick read! I wanted a little more higher stakes but since the nature of the story is that the crime already happened it was what I expected. I liked Savannah and her quest to find answers. She was too open and not great a secrecy but it was fun to see her confront people with her guesses. The survival club aspect a cool idea and I liked that they were all stuck on the mountain as Savannah searched for answers.

The other characters were all interesting and I loved wading through their stories and leaning more about them! I had my suspicions but though some of my guesses were correct I didn’t expect the final reveal. I really loved how it ended and how all the relationships changed and evolved throughout the story.

Overall a fun quick ya thriller!

A bit about me… I love all things morally grey and magical!

My favourite series is Red Rising and I’m sucker for found family.

I drink way too much tea and live out my fantasy dreams by visiting medieval festivals and doing archery!

If I’m not reading you’ll find me writing my book or dreaming of far away places.
