The Hunting Moon by Susan Dennard - Book Review

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

I wasn’t actually I massive fan of Luminaries - I loved the concept and the setting but didn’t find myself pulled in. HOWEVER, I really enjoyed The Hunting Moon!! I’m so glad I decided to continue with the series as Hunting Moon gave me everything I wanted in Luninaries. Things I had guessed were revealed in this one and plot points I had been wanting more from in book 1 delivered in this one!

Again, I love the setting and concept of a society of monster hunters and the forest location were they originate! Winnie was a lot more interesting to me this time as she struggled with her role and system of the Luminaries. And we get to see more of the relationships she’d started to to develop in the first book. It was a great read and I’m excited for the next one!

A bit about me… I love all things morally grey and magical!

My favourite series is Red Rising and I’m sucker for found family.

I drink way too much tea and live out my fantasy dreams by visiting medieval festivals and doing archery!

If I’m not reading you’ll find me writing my book or dreaming of far away places.
