This is our 3rd year of making The Bookish Advent Calendar and without a doubt this one has turned out to be our favourite yet!
Last year we took you to Midnight Books where for the month you managed a fictional bookshop… this year join us as we step into a whole new magical world and take you on the journey of meeting characters, exploring places and learning new things at a very special magical academy... 📚✨🪴🧹🎓
You will receive 24 individually wrapped bookish gifts, accessories and collectibles and just like last year they're all connected with a unique story that accompanies each day.
This is perfect for all book lovers, readers and bookworms, and will suit teen and adult readers alike. It does contain small parts 👀 so isn't suitable for very young readers.
The Bookish Advent Calendar isn't genre specific and will suit any reader, but without a doubt if you're a fan of fantasy, academia and magic you are going to absolutely love this!
Items range from practical to decorative, some will be new designs of much loved products (it couldn’t be a bookish advent without bookmarks!) but also some new very exciting things that we’ve not brought to Whisporia yet!

This was a different storyline and different items, but it should give you an idea of the value and quantity of contents… spoiler alert, we absolutely pack these boxes full - they’re our way of saying thank you to the bookish community for so much love and support!

Payment plans are available through PayPal, subject to your account, chose PayPal at the checkout and select the Pay in 3 option.
This gives you all the same benefits & protection as a normal PayPal payment without having to pay upfront.

Buying as a Gift
If you’re buying this as a gift - please put the recipient's name in on the address page as unless we hear otherwise this is the name we will use.
International Shipping
We will be offering the advent calendars internationally, however there are some countries we’re unable to ship to, and cannot guarantee delivery for the 1st of December.
There may also be some items that differ in international advents due to international selling regulations, but don’t worry they’ll all be of equal value & still just as special.

Discounts
These calendars are already heavily discounted so we are really sorry but no discount codes or vouchers will be able to be used.
Please bare in mind, the advent calendar sold out in 2023 (even after multiple restocks!), so whilst we have upped quantities this year, we cannot guarantee that these will still be available near Christmas and would recommend pre-ordering as soon as you are able (please see 'Payment plans' above regarding payment options should you wish to spread the costs).
Your advent calendar was fantastic. I opened it on a daily basis, and wore my key for the month. I actually had the box next to my bed so I could open it first thing in the morning! I loved the concept and look forward to purchasing one this year. The calendar was well thought out and the design was excellent. Easy to get sucked into the story that you were telling.
I was blown away by the contents of my advent calendar last year. It was such fantastic value for money and I loved how varied the items were from a useful pouch, a mug, a beautiful metal bookmark to mark your pages to the beautiful wax melts and candles. Each day was such a wonderful surprise.
I stuck to the day to open my advent as it gave me joy each day and a little bit of bookish.
I can't wait for the next one 🥰
I knew Whisporia's Advent Calendar would be good but I didn't realise just HOW good!
I was fully expecting lots of daily Bookish treats but imagine my surprise when Whisporia went a step further and created a whole story around the daily treats, with you looking after a Bookshop and letter from the owner while he has a well-deserved holiday!
It was an absolutely fantastic Calendar and I thoroughly enjoyed it and the story!
I can't recommend Whisporia's Calendar enough and I can't wait to see what surprises are in there this this!
I’ve bought both the book journal and the bookish advent calendars from Whisporia, both were fantastic quality with their individual quirks. The bookish one contained lots of lovely treats like wax melts, banners, stickers etc. The journal one was a lovely collection of tools to collate a fantastic journal for the forthcoming year. A must for those with a giant TBR pile!
I was delighted with my Whisporia Bookish Advent Calendar 2023. I opened it every day and I lived for the story that unfolded just as much, if not more so, than for the items I unwrapped. I am gonna need one in 2024!
